Chapter 434
Seeing that Taya was still standing rooted to the spot, Harper honked.
It was only then that Taya came to her senses. She hurriedly dragged the suitcase along and walked towards
Harper.
When they arrived at Harper's villa, the two of them lay on the same bed like
they used to in the past, chatting about many things.
Taya listened to Harper's rambling words, and she gradually relaxed. She leaned on Harper's shoulder and
eventually fell into a deep sleep.
Seeing that Taya had fallen asleep, Harper covered her with the quilt, and slowly closed her eyes as well, falling into
a sweet dream...
The next day, Harper planned to meet Silas with Taya but something happened at the nightclub which needed her to be there. Hence, Taya went to meet Silas herself.
Before leaving the house, Taya put the mating certificate into her small backpack.
With her bag and mobile phone, Taya
left for Silas's villa.
Silas was still sitting in the backyard,
reading a book with his head down.
Looking from a distance, the scene looked like a painting.
He looked extremely lonely, as if he had been abandoned by the whole world,
and he seemed lifeless.
Taya could feel his emotions, but she pretended not to know anything. She walked towards him as if nothing had happened. "Silas..."
Hearing her voice, Silas didn't turn around happily like before, but clenched
the book in his hand.
Taya squatted down to his level and looked at him. "How are you today? Do
you feel any discomfort today?"
Silas looked down, trying to hide his sad eyes and responded softly, "I'm fine. You
don't need to come and see me."

After staring at him for a while, Taya asked, "Silas, is it because Griffon saved you that you feel indebted to him?"
Silas pursed his thin lips. He didn't answer and he didn't even dare to look at Taya. The guilt in his heart swallowed him, and the burden weighed extremely heavily on him.
Taya took the book in his hand and said softly to him, "Silas, I will help you pay
back what you owe him. Don't worry too
much." Silas looked up with his red eyes
and asked Taya, "How are you going to repay him?"
Taya looked down when she heard his words. She replied, "I don't know how yet, but I always feel that I'll be able to do so one day."
Silas smiled softly. "He doesn't need you or me to repay him. All he needs is you."
Taya's face turned a little pale, "How many times do I have to say it for you to believe me? Griffon and I are over."
Seeing the disappointment in Taya's
eyes, Silas's heart tightened, and he quickly bowed his head to apologize. "It's my fault. It's because I worry too much
about gains and losses, and it's because I thought you and Griffon..."
"Silas."
After interrupting him, Taya looked into his eyes and said solemnly,
"There was no point of return for Griffon and I the moment I left this world. Recently, I found out what he did, and I also know that he has done a lot for me. I have indeed felt very conflicted because of all this. However, Taya who used to
belong to him, had died because of him.
Now I... I just want to move on. I don't
want to look back... As for Amon, I had
successfully divorced him, and he has
also returned to Aronland."
"Silas, I did all this because I had decided to stay by your side from the
very beginning."

you..."
Silas's eyes welled up in tears. His vision became so blurry that he couldn't see Taya's face clearly.
He raised his fingers, wanting to touch
her face, but he reluctantly retracted his
hands.
He grabbed his legs tightly, struggled for a few minutes, then looked up at Taya
with his tear-filled eyes.
