Spoiled by the Silver Fox

Chapter 721

"Girl, Seb won't be angry. Seb's totally smitten with you!"

"Wow, really? Emily, I'll take it then!"

In Emily's heart, Stephanie had become family, as dear to her as her own mother.

Stephanie's smile was warm and genuine. "That's right, you never have to play it cool with me, ever!"

There are indeed many kinds of bonds so close that you'd gladly share everything you love with that person, without a hint of reluctance.

Her mom was one.

Silver Fox, her beloved car, was another.

And Emily too, of course.

Driving her sports car with Emily beside her, they cruised along the streets, Emily bubbling with excitement the whole ride.

When they reached the studio gates, they coincidentally ran into Emmett, who had just pulled up in his sleek black Rolls-Royce.

As Emmett's car approached the entrance, Stephanie honked her horn, signaling him to go ahead.

But Emmett had his driver stop the car, and he stepped out, circling Stephanie's sports car before offering his opinion, "Nice wheels." Stephanie beamed. "A gift from Silver Fox."

At that, Emmett rolled his eyes and quipped, "Just okay, I guess."

"Bursting my bubble so fast, Emmett! But wait, you're into sports cars too?"

"I've got a few in the collection."

"Wow, you're really hip, Emmett!"

"You dig sports cars, kiddo?"Content © NôvelDrama.Org 2024.

Emmett's gaze darkened a bit with curiosity. He remembered that Zachary, in his youth, had a passion for collecting sports cars.

A garage full of them, all makes and models. If tragedy hadn't struck, by now, he could probably host a major car show.

Stephanie nodded eagerly. "Sure do!

Never driven one before, but just seeing them gets my heart racing. Makes me want to jump in the driver's seat!"

It must be something in the blood. Zachary had a deep-rooted love for sports cars.

Seeing them lifted his spirits, and a quick spin was enough to leave him grinning ear to ear.

The saying goes, 'Like uncle, like nephew,' but in this case, it was more like 'Like father, like daughter.'

And truly, Stephanie felt it. Sebastian had showered her with clothes and jewelry, but none of that thrilled her like the sight of a sports car.

She was so moved, she even shed tears of joy on the spot.

Emmett raised an eyebrow. "Maybe I should gift you a few then."

"Whoa, hold up, Emmett! I'll have too

many soon. Silver Fox has already ordered a few more for me. They haven't even arrived. I can't drive them all, it'd be a waste!"

Back in the day, Zachary never worried about waste.

If he liked it, he bought it!

No matter the cost.

Poor girl, Stephanie's fate was slightly less fortunate. Born into wealth but raised in modesty, she hardly enjoyed any luxury. Emmett could guess why Sebastian was so good to her. Probably the same reason he felt compelled to take care of her now.

He thought life had been unfair to the girl, so he wanted to make it up to her!

Emmett nodded, "Let him give his gifts, and I'll give mine. What's the harm? You think I can't afford it?"

"It's not that. It's just a waste of money."

"Kiddo, I've got money to burn.

Others need investors for their films. I've never had to bother with that. Anything produce is fully funded by yours truly! This is the first time I've ever calculated an actress's, payment in shares. Be grateful for that!"

"Emmett, I am grateful! And hey, if the movie flops, I'll forgo my pay."
