Chapter 66
"Hello, Miss Gray. It's a pleasure to have you call me so soon. Is there anything I can do to assist you?" The manager happily asked. She was unaware of the fact that her voice was echoing throughout the entire lobby. The moment the staff member and the security guards heard the voice coming from Rose's phone, they all instantly recognized it as the Manager's voice.
"Oh, hi. I just arrived at the bank and I'm currently in the lobby on the way to the VIP floor. However, the security guards aren't giving me the clearance to come up. As we speak, I'm being surrounded by a group of security guards and I'm being accused as a fraud and scammer." Rose explained as she glanced at the security guards and Josh from the corner of her eyes.
"What?!" The manager exclaimed in surprise. "Who dares to act in such an uncourteous nabber towards you? They dare to go against my order as well. I specially asked my secretary to inform all the staff personnel about your arrival and they dare do such a thing. Please give me a few minutes, I will be at the lobby now." The manager said in a frantic voice as she immediately hung up the call.
"Well, I hope I've provided enough proof to you? You heard her clearly, right? And in case a few of you are still doubtful, then you can all wait here for a couple of minutes when she arrives." Rose said, staring directly at the team leader of the security guard.
Everyone couldn't help but stare at Rose in awe. They began to murmur among each other after they heard Rose speaking to the manager. At first, they all thought she was lying but they've gotten enough proof.
It was true that all the staff had received a short notice on their personnel from the manager informing them about an Elite client coming over. But none of them would have imagined that the so-called important client would turn out to be a young girl who was obviously a teenager.
However, they all still decided to stay and wait until the manager arrive and confirm the truth by herself. They still refuse to believe that Rose was speaking the truth even after the phone call. The fact that she was just a little girl was the one that was confusing and clouding their mind to think properly.
Rose quietly nodded her head. Seeing them still not leaving was enough response for her to know that they still didn't believe her.
The lobby remained silent as everyone were patiently awaiting the arrival of manager. However, the silence was suddenly distrubted when the elevator 'Ding' sound resounded throughout the lobby like a sound of bell. 'Ding'
Everyone unconsciously directed their attention towards the elevator door when they heard the sound of the door opening.
A beautiful young woman in her late twenties stepped out of the elevator. A baffled expression appeared on her beautiful face when she saw the crowd that had gathered just as she took a few steps away from the elevator. "Just what in the world is going on here?......who is in charge of this section? I need someone to give me a good explanation of what is happening here?" She asked, a deep frown on her stern looking face.
She was already pissed off at the fact that Rose might be dissatisfied with her due to the incapability of her staff. She is agitated at that fact and was ready to fire the staffs after all this issue in the lobby had been resolved.
The manager looked around and her
gaze landed on a beautiful young girl that was surrounded by a group of security guards. She didn't have the slightest thought that it was Rose she was supposed to meet. Instead, she thought it was another unreasonable matter that unrelated to why she was at the lobby.
Upon seeing the arrival of the manager, Josh quickly rushed to her. "Ma'am, it's really you?" He asked in a surprise tone.
The manager turned to look at Josh, completely finding his question very offensive. "And what is that supposed to mean?" She asked.
"I'm sorry, that isn't what I meant. I was just caught off guard by your arrival." Josh quickly explain in order to resolve any brewing misunderstanding.
The manager just quietly stared at Josh with a raised brow. "What is going on here?" She question again.
"It's all because if the young lady over there. She wants to have access to the VIP floor and even have the guts to claim that you invited her personally. She even made a phone call to make us believe that she was speaking to you a few minutes ago but we are sure that the person she was speaking with was an imposter. Don't worry ma'am, we are going to resolve it immediately." Josh hurriedly gave a brief explanation of the entire situation to the manager.
The manager eyes widened after hearing what Josh told her. Her followed the direction to where he is pointing his hand towards and saw that he was talking about the same person that was surrounded by a couple if security guards. She then recall her phone conversation with Rose earlier. "Could she be Miss Gray?" She mumbled to herself.
She took a good look at Rose and
saw that she was a young girl. The current manager was the person Rose mother had handed her account over to. The manager suddenly recalled her mentor who was the previous manager telling her, that it was the daughter of Mrs. Gray that have the right over the account she has with them. However she didn't expect the daughter of this Mrs Gray to be very
young. It was also one of the

were so cautious of her.
As she trailed off in her thought, she didn't realize that she was walking towards Rose until she was standing in front of the girl who is very young enough to be her younger sister. "Excuse me? Are you perhaps Miss Roseline Gray?" She asked, her voice low and soft.
Rose stare at the beautiful woman in front of her before nodding her head. "Yes, I am. I suppose you are the branch manager I've spoken with twice today?" Rose calmly ask.
