Chapter 94
“Really Adrian? Man, she bounced back like Wonder Woman considering she was just roofied? Kind of convenient don’t you think? Tonight, of all nights?” Sam demanded.
“She only took one drink before she got scared and called me.” Smokey explained.
Sam shook her head. “I am so disappointed in you. I never thought you this stupid. I never would have guessed you’d break our daughter’s heart like you just did! Since she came into our I don’t even know you anymore. I think it’s best you both stay here tonight. I need some space.”
“Sam don’t be like that. If Hanna was in trouble, I would have been there for her the same. I know it was graduation but you recorded it didn’t you?” Smokey asked.
“I’m going to ignore that. Why didn’t you send a prospect or brother after her so you could go to your daughter’s graduation might I add one of the biggest milestones of her life?” Sam asked.
“Because she’s my daughter and responsibility.” Smokey replied.
“She’s 20 fucking years old not a child! And you’re too stupid to see how she playing you and making your daughter miserable! Arrgghh! I can’t even look at you right now!” Sam retorted.
“Sam.” Smokey started.
“She’s no longer welcome in my house! I want her out!” Sam said through gritted teeth.
“You mean our house?” Smokey demanded.
Snake shook his head in warning. “Man, you need to shut up before you dig in worse.”
Smokey turned on him. “You’re just loving this aren’t you?”
Snake sighed. “What’s wrong with you? No man I’m not loving having my family torn apart! For 18 years we’ve worked. We’ve co-parented without issues. Why would you even say that?”
“Look! My home your home our home whatever! I’ll make this simple for you. Either she goes or I go! Your choice!” Sam yelled.
“Sam that’s not fair.” Smokey exclaimed.
“Fair? Fair! That’s so fucking rich. What’s not fair is YOU allowing our daughter to be hurt over and over and destroying her faith in you letting her down time after time!” Sam retorted.
“Come on Sam. This is being blown all out of proportion!” Smokey replied.
Sam looked at Snake. Then back at Smokey. “I’m done with this conversation. Text me your choice!” Then she turned and left.
Hanna cried all the way home. Maverick tried talking to her but she just wouldn’t listen. She was crushed at what happened.
“I want to pack and go ahead and move into my apartment at the academy. Do you think you could come with me and stay for a few days?” Hanna asked.
“Whatever you need baby.” Maverick assured her.
“I just need away from here now.” Hanna explained.
“I know it was a shitty thing for him to do, but he is your dad.” Maverick replied.
“Not anymore. I know she’s manipulating him but the fact that he chose her over me tonight destroyed me.” Hanna replied.
“Hanna.” Maverick sighed.
“I don’t want to talk about it anymore.” Hanna replied.
There’s a knock at the door. Hanna looked through the peephole and saw it was her dad. She looked at Maverick and shook her head no.
“Mav, send him away. If you let him in, then we are going to have a problem. I’ll be in the bedroom packing.” Then she went to their bedroom and closed the door.
Maverick walked to the door, opened it, and stepped outside closing the door behind him.
“I need to talk to her. I know she’s mad at me but I still need to try.” Smokey explained.
“She’s not just mad man, she’s hurt more than anything. She believes you chose Adrianna over her. And hate to tell you, but you did. You could have sent a brother after her who would have taken care of her so you go see your daughter graduate.” Maverick replied.
“Are you going to let me in?” Smokey asked.
“No. Hanna said no. She’s my old lady. My loyalty is to her.” Maverick explained.
“Your loyalty is to the club the brotherhood.” Smokey replied.
“She comes first in my book. Maybe you should think about that. Go home Smokey. She’s way to hurt right now. She’s not going to talk to you.” Maverick explained.
Smokey sighed. “Did you know about her sleeping with the guys?”
“Yeah, but not my place to tell. I can tell you she repeatedly came on to me. I didn’t tell Hanna. I’m scared what she would do. Besides she had enough to deal with what was going on with you. So, I’d appreciate it if you didn’t tell her.” Maverick replied.
“She’s dealing with enough.” Smokey sighed. “You set her straight right?”
“You’re damn right I did. I shoved her away every time and told her no one could even come close to my Hannah. Especially no carbon copy wannabe.” Maverick replied.
Smokey nodded then left. Maverick went back inside to comfort Hanna. Hanna and Maverick pack up and left for her apartment near the academy. Snake gave him the week off to help Hanna get settled in and to check out the area and check in with the local club there.
After the week was up Maverick left to go back home to work. It was a very tearful goodbye. But it was necessary. After he left, Hanna got to work on her plan. She wasn’t losing her family without a fight. She was determined to out Adrianna for the conniving bitch she knew she was.
Things at Sam’s house was still tense. “Beautiful, be reasonable.” Snake begged.
“Lucas, I’m sorry. I know I’m biased but I can’t sit back any longer while he lets her manipulate him into being this guy, I don’t recognize who’s hurting our daughter!” Sam retorted.
“I’ll admit he’s being stupid.” Snake replied.
“I saw that evil little bitch smirk at Hanna when her and Adrian were arguing! She’s clever, I’ll give her that. But she’s dealing with the queen of clever when dealing with me and my sisters!” Sam retorted.
She sent a text to Smokey. “I need an answer. Does she pack or do I?”
Smokey texted her back. “I’ve got her set in a room at the clubhouse. I’ll get her stuff packed up and moved here.”
“Glad to hear you’re thinking for yourself.” Sam replied.
“Actually, it was her idea. She didn’t want to cause more trouble.” Smokey replied.
“OMG, that is so fucking hilarious! She’s playing you so well and you’re in hook line and sinker. I’ve never known you to be a weak stupid man who couldn’t see through manipulation as blatant as she’s doing. Really wondering if you just don’t want to see? SMDH” Sam replied back. This content © Nôv/elDr(a)m/a.Org.
