Chapter 44: He Got Shot
Qin Mochen came up and looked down at me with a smile, moreover, the words he said were also full of affectionate love, “Leave everything to me!”
Saying this, he raised his eyes and stared at Murong Shuo coldly, then lifted his hands and hooked the USB flash disk with his finger, “Let her go.”
“Haha, come on!” Murong Shuo pushed me behind, and suddenly, the man behind imprisoned me and put his gun on my head.
Qin Mochen’s face froze but he closed his thin lips and kept silent.
Murong Shuo walked forward and sneered at him with hands stretching out, “Give it to me.”
“Mochen, no, just leave here!” I yelled at him, but he only lifted his lips and smiled at me gently.
The next moment, he threw the USB flash disk to Murong Shuo. However, he was suddenly kicked by him and bent with a snort.
The kick hurt my heart more seriously. Before I could open my mouth, Mo Yulin’s voice sounded suddenly, “Murong Shuo, you bastard. Let him go; let him go!”
I turned to see her. Mo Yulin was standing not far away with a gun in her hand and pointed at Murong Shuo. Her face was indifferent and cold, as if she would shoot the next moment.
Murong Shuo just sneered and pulled Qin Mochen in front of him, then he stared at Mo Yulin ruthlessly and provocatively, “Come on! Just shoot. If you want to kill me, shoot your beloved first!”
He laughed wildly, then he punched and kicked Qin Mochen. I looked at him painfully but remained motionless and never fought back. I knew that he was doing it all for me.
As long as he dared to resist, Murong Shuo would hurt me.
Watching the blood flow out from the corner of his mouth, I couldn’t restrain my emotions anymore. As hard as I could, I knocked the man who had imprisoned me aside and ran toward him.
Murong Shuo roared at the man behind me and asked him to shoot. I didn’t fear him at all at that moment. I just didn’t want Qin Mochen to get hurt for me.Published by Nôv'elD/rama.Org.
I staggered and looked at Qin Mochen punching Murong Shuo to the ground with a serious face. In the meantime, he rushed to me quickly and held me in his arms, then turned around with his back facing the gun.
When I saw the man behind shoot, a sharp pain overwhelmed me. I wanted to scream, but it was too late. Qin Mochen really got shot. He snorted beside my ears and his heavy body leaned on me.
“No. Mochen, no…” I shook my head and cried bitterly with hands on his wrist which was hot and sticky. The gush of blood made me limp.
Su Chengzhao quickly rushed behind me and took down the man.
Qin Mochen was pale. He let me go and put the messy hair on my face behind the ears while enduring the pain.
“Mochen, why?” I grasped his arms tightly and tried to support him.
He only lifted his lips and smiled, then held me tightly in his arms and lowered his head to kiss me predominantly. It was a kind of gentleness he had never showed to me.
He then released me and leaned his head on my forehead and smiled gently, “Fei’er, I love you. From beginning to end, you are the only one I love. I will repay you indefinitely for the harm I have done to you, but only if you can forgive me; only if you can still love me.”
After saying this, he closed his eyes. I knew that he was restraining the pain, and so was I.
I supported him and sobbed, “Don’t talk anymore. We have to leave first. You got shot!”
Qin Mochen sized my hands and fixed on me with his eyes. After thinking for a while, he opened his mouth, “Fei’er, do you love me? Do you still love me?”
Do I love him?
Looking in his eyes, the word ‘love’ was blocked in my mouth and I couldn’t speak it out. If it was in the past, I would have said that I love him happily.
However, with a scarred body and a broken heart, how could my love be complete?
