Chapter 10
Chapter 10
Federick Addington stood in front of her, frowning and sniffing.
There was the smell of smoke, wine, and the unique taste of a place filled with luxury.
Federick Addington's eyes darkened and he questioned, "Where did you go yesterday?"
"I went to the General's Token Club with Eli.” Stella Grace did not lie.
She was upright and honest. She had a clear conscience.
Federick Addington said with disgust in his eyes, “You are disgusting!"
Stella Grace sneered. "Same as you."
She walked outside.
"Wait," Federick Addington said coldly.
Stella Grace looked back at him.
Federick Addington's cold eyes swept over the table. "Throw these things out. I think your dishes are filthy.” Stella Grace looked at him quietly.
She felt a sharp pain in her heart.
She was filthy, but yet she had only been with one man, and she was forced into it.
Fie was clean, but yet he had countless women. An anger rushed to her head from the bottom of her heart. "You don't deserve my cooking.” Stella Grace coldly walked toward the dining table and she smashed at the bowls. The porcelain bowls crashed to the ground.
Food and soup flew everywhere.
Federick Addington grabbed Stella's with a murderous look in his eyes.
Fie was very strong, as if he wanted to break her arm. Fie said darkly, "Clean this up before you leave." “You must be dreaming," Stella Grace replied bluntly.
A murderous look flashed across Federick Addington’s eyes as he reached out to strangle her.
Stella Grace found herself suffocating. she looked at him with hate.
Their marriage was despicable, so it was better to end it this way.
If she died, he would have to go to hell with her.
It's better than being alone... Sad and depressed, with no one who knew how much she had suffered. Stella's mouth curled up into a charming smile.
It was full of poisonous vindication
Federick Addington was startled at this, he loosened his grip.
Stella was so weak, she fell towards the floor and broke her fall using her hands.
Sharp pieces of gravel pierced her palms and blood flowed out.
Federick Addington looked down at her condescendingly. He frowned and a strange look flashed across his eyes. "Get out. Don't come here again.” Stella Grace stood up and lowered her eyes. She clenched her fists and blood dripped on the ground, leaving behind devilish red stains. She walked out of the door without looking back at him.
Your sadness, when seen by your loved ones, will give them pain; when seen by your enemies, it will give them joy; but when seen by those who do not know you, it will become their source of gossip.
She did not want to look weak, she did not want to cry.
Stella washed her hands at a pharmacy, bought some plaster, and clean her wounds on her ownNôvel(D)ra/ma.Org exclusive © material.
Eli Wayne called her on the phone. "Stella, I'm at your house. When are you coming back?”
Stella Grace also had things to ask Eli. What exactly happened to her? How did she end up at the soldier's place? "I'll be back soon.” After a while, Stella Grace walked out of the elevator.
Eli Wayne looked at her face.
Stella did not look well, and Eli's heart skipped a beat. "What happened to me last night. Eli?" Stella Grace demanded
"Well, I was drunk last night as well. I don't know what happened. I was just about to ask you?" Eli Wayne said with a hint of guilt. Stella did not know what to say.
"I don't remember either. Come in." Stella Grace opened the door.
Eli Wayne grinned when she realized that Stella did not pursue the matter.
She followed Stella in and saw the cosmetic bag on the tea table.
"Oh my goodness, Guerlain? Have you won the lottery and gone to buy such expensive cosmetics?" Eli opened the bag and was shocked. "This costs 350 dollars, right?"
"What?" Stella Grace stunned.
She thought that it was only 150 dollars, and she was still thinking of paying Jasper back. But 350 dollars?
She did not have that much money.
Eli Wayne found a receipt in the bag and looked at it. She picked it up and waved it at Stella. "See, 330 dollars. Have you won a lottery?” "This is not mine. Can you sell them for me?" Stella Grace said helplessly.
"Why would you sell them? Isn't Federick rich?” Eli Wayne returned the receipt to the bag.
Stella's eyes dimmed and she said, "I won't use his money." "Women must be independent, especially financially. I agree! But..." Eli Wayne looked at her with ambiguous eyes. "Was this given to you by another man?”
‘Yesterday; a soldier gave them to me. I did fot do anything for him,so I will ngtreceive his gift. I also won't contact him in the future. It's not goodto take other people's things.” Stella Grace explained. Content bélongs to ~
Eli's eyes lit up. Was the man from the night before so rich? It seemed that she had good taste.
If she planned not to contact him, how was she to return the money?
"Yes, you mustyeturn the money. I'll buy this froptyou, I'll transfer you the moneyater. When you return it> to him, teat him to a meal. By the way, til you guys do anything last night?" Eli Wayne asked ina a sneaky tone. _~
Stella Grace blushed and said awkwardly, "Of course not. What are you thinking about?”
"That kind of man, you should hook up with him." Eli Wayne suggested.
Jasper Milton's cold and reserved look flashed across Stella Grace's mind. he exuded an aura of exclusivity. "He is not a man whe you can hook up with." Stella Grace said with certainty.
"It's a matter of your will. All you have to do is to work hard." Eli Wayne suggested.
"I won't suéceed if I don’t work hard, but I am more comfortable with not working hard. It's impossible for him and I te be together,1’ Stella Grace saidsputting the cosmetic bay into EliWayne's arms. "Take it...Content bélongs ~
Eli Wayne had no choice but to sit on the sofa, she transferred the money to Stella Grace. Eli Wayne asked suspiciously, 'T ve given you the money. How will you give it back to him?"
Stella Grace walked to the refrigerator, took out two bottles of drinks, and handed one to Eli Wayne.
"I have his phone number. He said that I can call him when I arrive at the gate of the military camp,” Stella Grace said and sat next to Eli Wayne. Stella Grace’s phone message rang.
Eli Wayne's money had arrived in Stella's account.
"Call him now. We still have time. Let's invite him to dinner.” Eli Wayne suggested with a smile.
Stella Grace did not want to owe him money for too long.
Stella Grace took out the note he had given her.
His name and number were written on it.
Eli Wayne poked her head over and looked at it. "Jasper Milton. His handwriting is smooth and powerful he seems so cultured and knowledgeable. He is a rare talent!"
Stella Grace gave Eli Wayne a strange look. "It's a pity that you don't do fortune-telling.” “Haha, I think that too. Go on. Go on." Eli Wayne urged
Stella Grace dialed the number. After three beeps. he answered the call.
"Hello, this is Stella." Stella Grace said awkwardly.
"Yes." Jasper Milton's deep voice came on the phone.
"I'll pass the money to you in an hour. Is that convenient for you?" Stella Grace said. "Sure, come over." Jasper Milton said and hung up the phone.
"He spoke so little?” Eli Wayne was surprised
"That was already considered a lot.” Stella Grace said with a smile.
Eli Wayne was speechless
"I have a new pair of shoes for you. My feet are too small. They are branded! It would be a waste of money if I just throw them away." Eli Wayne said with a smile, with a cunning look in her eyes.
Stella Grace did not think too much. "Thank
