Lyceon - The dark lord

Chapter-33- his mate

Comfortable silence enveloped them before Allison decided to break it.

"Umm... Lyceon?" She cringed her own voice as it came out like a mouse while all she wanted to call him.

But she felt him stiffened beside her. Her heart hammered, realising she offended him. Would He answer her questions?

"I apologize, but I have some questions and only you can answer me." She released a deep breath.NôvelDrama.Org: owner of this content.

"What did you say?" He asked with a growl, making her jump on her place. She didn't dare to look up in fear of seeing his crimson eyes.

"I... I want to ask...."

"NO. Before it!" He demanded. Allison gasped slightly, realising she called him by his name.

Pinching her eyes she immediately pleaded. "I'm sorry, King. I made a mistake.."

"NO." He snapped again. Allison clutched the duvet on her shoulders which was covering her.

"Say my name." He urged again. Unwantedly, she raised her emerald orbs at him and stared at him. Lyceon looked down at her with a tender gaze. Allison frowned at his ridiculous demand.

He brushed her cheek with his thumb with his unblinking gaze. His eyes expressed so much volume to her with the slight touch that Allison felt a pull towards them. She forced herself to divert her eyes and mind.

But He was fast enough to hold her cheek and turned her towards him.

"Say it, Angel." He coaxed. Allison gulped. His big and rough hand almost covered her side face. Unwantedly Allison's eyes travelled to his tattoo-covered scar from his temple to his cheek. She wondered why he chose to draw this on his face. "Lyceon.." her voice came out as a question. Immediately a dazzling smile jumped on his face that brought out his own dimples which she witnessed for the first time and too from close. Allison was stunned.

He was too gorgeous to even exist. How come this man could be lethal? He can win the women's race with his mere smile.

"You will call me by my name from now on." He declared before tucking the strand of her hair behind her ear.

"I... want to ask something." She whispered ignoring his statement because her heart was deceiving her after getting that secret smile. But she knew she only had this chance with him now. "Go on." He nodded.

"Why did you bring me here? I mean do you.. Like me? It's not possible when you hardly know me. You put your claim on me before everyone. Is there something I Should know? Do you want me to help you in any way? I won't deny though. You are the Alphas of Alpha, the Lycan King who is known for his Words. I wish to have an honest response from you. Please." she added immediately.

Lyceon inclined his head and examined her features for a minute.

"The only thing you should know is that I do need you. I want you and you will stay by my side with or without any purpose. Is that enough?"

Allison sighed. And again they were back to square one. She knew if she insisted on getting the answer again, He would turn into an angry beast.

He was not lying either. He was quenching her thirst to dig the information out of him.

"Why did those creatures attack the club and try to kill us?" She asked further not leaving him out of line again.

"Because they came to hunt. To create havoc around in order to announce their claim on the territory. They love to mess around Shunning their pathetic lives and pleasing their master." Lyceon answered.

"But why? Who is this master?" Now Allison was surprised. Who could openly declare a war against the King of the kings in the state?

"Because they want power and authority. They are Greedy for ruling over all realms by eliminating those who swore on to protect the world from their vicious conspiracies. They have been trying for years and years to get the reign, created wars and defeated others by cheating. There is not only one but many and that's what I need to know." Lyceon explained to her.

Allison was a little astounded that He opened up to her. Was it that easy?

"Are you different from them?" She couldn't stop her tongue, remembering how He defeated the numerous packs in combat to get the power and in one battle her family became the victims.

Lyceon tilted his head at her. He realised she had so much hatred for him in her heart and it seemed something more than hate. Is this for claiming her?

"Why would you say that?" He asked. Allison swallowed the lump formed in her throat. Should she confront him?

"Why didn't you end the Midnight crescent pack? It would have been easy if you did that. I could better have died than living in this Agony for my loved ones." She let out feeling the tears pricking in her eyes. But she didn't want to cry in front of him who caused her pain.

In a second, Lyceon's hold tightened on her, making her wince.

"Angel, what are you talking about?" He was right. There was something else He needed to know otherwise He would go insane.

"The Blue Moon pack which you killed mercilessly had an alliance with our pack and our Alpha sent forty warriors to help them in the battle against...You." Allison closed her eyes recalling the times when her Alpha announced her father's death.

So that was the reason she was upset with him. He killed all of them, the Blue Moon pack, the members of her previous pack. Then Why the fuck involve in the shit if you love your life?

Lyceon growled in anger.

"Then he shouldn't have sent them if he knew I was the one standing against them. That pack was going against my rules. Yours too. I had to..."

"My father and brother were among them." She whispered, cutting him in the middle. She sniffed and closed her eyes not wanting to talk further. She had already tolerated enough for today. She could only expect this journey from now on when she was in the Dark walkers territory.

Lyceon let the words sink into his mind. Her father and brother? He killed them.

So she was not upset with him but she loathed him for this.

Allison felt him kissing her temple and tucking her on the bed. She was too tired to protest so let him do what He wanted. In the next second, He was out of her room and headed to his office with clenched fists.

He didn't even know her family let alone digging her background. His desires overlooked his rationality at that time. He flipped the desk table over, sending it's contents flying in every direction in the office room. His breathing turned sharp and his Lycan surfaced, hungry to destroy the world.

He killed her family.

He killed the family of his Angel.

HIS MATE!
