Chapter 72
Chapter 72
Don't let me hear you scold her again Annette's eyes suddenly became cold, and she glanced at it, surly and quietly rose, her voice was cold, "Let's go."
Rene got angry and squeezed harder, "I'm asking you if you heard me! Don't let me know you're doing those unethical things outside!"
The next second, his arm was grasped by a well-knotted hand and twisted fiercely.
Rene went subconsciously in pain, and was thrown out suddenly.
When he looked up, it was a clear, cold face with a long, powerful aura that sent a shiver down the spine just by standing there.
The most beautiful star in the entertainment industry is probably not as good as the one in front of him.
Rene looked at him, unlike someone from Shiveport, "Who are you? What does it have to do with you when I talked to my niece?"
Waynett tilted his head and asked expressionlessly, "Your uncle?"
Annette's brow was light, her black and white eyes cold as a pool of cold water, and she whispered, "yeah."
Waynett's eyes swept over, and instantly, it was like a sharp sword stabbed at the tip of Rene's throat, creeping him out.
"Not like that."
The corners of the man's mouth smiled.
Rene, however, saw the humiliation in that smile ,he blushed hard.
At that moment, Annette’'s phone rang and it was Solomon, rushing them down.
"Let's go."
Annette turned around, heading for the lift.
Lorraine rushed to follow.
Rene frowned and was about to chase, "Annette, I haven't finished!"
An arm suddenly stepped in front of him and he met those eyes, evil and fierce, and his voice was a frightening chill, "Don't let me hear you scold her again." NôvelDrama.Org © 2024.
At once, Rene's whole body was pinned in place with nerves tense.
Waynett teased his lips in disdain and took a few long steps into the lift.
Rene gritted his teeth.
Sure enough, he was Annette's friend, a bad-ass, bandit-den punk! In the car, Annette apologized to her friend who was playing the game together for her hanging up just now.
Then another game was Started.
Waynett inclined his eyes at the girl who was sitting casually with her legs crossed , a smile flashed under his eyes when he put the shopping in her hand.
"Something you liked , and two milk teas ."
Annette glanced at them.
Macarons, matcha lasagne, strawberry lasagne and a couple of packets of sheer sugar.
She raised an eyebrow, "Thanks."
"You're welcome."
Waynett's gaze fell on her waist, quite curious, "So many sweet things, not afraid of gaining weight?"
The corners of Annette's mouth curled lightly in a wild and reckless manner, "I'm growing."
Waynett's eyes half narrowed, not expecting her to use his words to block him, so he changed another subject, "Will you at school for the parents’ meeting tomorrow?"
"Yeah."
Annette said absently, her nimble, pretty fingers manipulating the characters in the game, "I'll meet you at the entrance to the senior department building."
Waynett thought about Annette’s grades and tapped his fingertips on the armrest, "Will I be called by the teacher ? "
Annette thought for a moment about the character of Irene ,said, "yeah."
Waynett looked at Annette with a particularly svelte, defeated look in his eyes, like a wolf on its prey.
It seemed he could use her studies to find her openly in the future, after all, there was still plenty of room for improvement for the bottom of the table.
