Lucien sighed as he followed her up the stairs but she was quick to lock the door .

” Lucia please open up , let’s talk about this . Please trust me nothing is going to happen between us there . I love you and you know that . Please don’t do this ” he said and after waiting without hearing anything , he turned back and headed for his room , but felt a hand wrap around his back as he was about entering the room .

Lucien smiled in relief as he turned and held her close to himself .

” I promise you that nothing will happen and for the fact we would be in separate suites till I return ” he said .

” It’s fine , ” Lucia said and kissed him which Lucien responded to immediately and Lucia wrapped her legs around his torso .

Lucien supported her weight as he carried her into the room .

He dropped her on the bed and the rest was history.

Thelma dried her tears as she wondered where she had gone wrong for Derrick to be giving her a cold shoulder all day .

She turned and startled at the towering figure before her and shook .

She was about moving away from him when he pulled her closer and engaged her in a frenzy kiss before pulling away.

” I am sorry ” he said calmly cupping her face and wiped the tears trickling down .

” I am sorry for making you cry when we are not even married yet ” he said and Thelma nodded .

” I just got into a bad mood and everything was irking me . Lucien was the only one who could help me a bit ” he said and Thelma smiled and pecked him on the cheeks .

” It’s fine but please don’t do it again . I was very worried and couldn’t come with any thing or mistake I had done to deserve the treatment ” she said and hugged him tightly making Derrick smile .

He really loves this lady and won’t do anything to hurt her .

Even if it means dying he would do it.

” Derrick I want icecream” Thelma said with a groan .

” Anything for my queen, I will just go get you one from the freezer” he said pulling away .

” No I don’t want the one in the fridge , I want a freshly made icecream not the one in the refrigerator for a long time. ” She said tearing up.

” What but this is already night Thelma, how do I get you a freshly made icecream by this time . ” He asked in surprise.

” So you won’t get me a new icecream . What have I ever done wrong ” she said in anger walking to the bed.

” Ok calm down I will go get you the icecream now ” Derrick said itching his hair as he picked up his car keys and walked out of the room. .

” Was this how pregnant women behaves and Thelma hasn’t even gone far in her pregnancy and she is already giving him a lot of troubles .

He got into his car as he thought of possible places to go get the icecream this night and remembered Twitzers , they were always open 24hours 7 days and he had thought they were stupid but now he knew well that emergencies like this could come up and he was grateful for their relentless services .

Derrick got to Twitzers after a twenty minutes drive and hurriedly got in.

He walked to where the icecream products were displayed .

” Ok make me four plates of icecream of the different flavors you have here. ” He said and the attendant nodded .

She wasn’t surprised because people has also come with similar request like him .

” What size are you buying ” she asked pouring the materials into the icecream machine .

” The biggest size ..” he said

” That would be a bucket size ” she said with a grin .

” Yes do it and please be fast about it before she throws more tantrums” he said frustratedly .

” Lady problem right ” she asked pressing out the already made icecream into the container .

” Yes , pregnancy hormones ” he said not minding if she was poke nosing but he just needed someone to talk to and she had proved herself available.

” Oh wow you are married ” she asked staring at his hands and not seeing any ring .

” About to ” he said with a wink making her flush .

” Here have the icecream, I made vanilla, chocolate, strawberry and banana flavours ” he said and he nodded appreciatively .

” Here , have my card ” he said and she collected his debit card which she used to debit him after he had typed in his pin.

Before she could finish saying it he had already ran out of the store and Bella cussed herself for not playing fast .

She was really attracted to him and damn if he had a pregnant wife.

They were not yet married so she could still shoot her shot at him .

She walked out of the counter with a cup of icecream as she headed to get some snacks to go with it .

She can’t wait and she was happy for the good luck which had shone upon her today .

Derrick received a call as he was about driving in and he groaned when he saw it was his aunt.

What is it with this woman .

He accepted the call and placed it on loudspeaker still driving in .

He waited for his Aunt’s voice to pop up

” Hello Derrick , is that lady still in your house ” she asked with a mean tone .

“. What lady ” he asked playing dumb .

” That low class lady that you intend to get married to ” she said and Derrick gripped his hand tighter on the steering .

” Aunt , she isn’t low class , she was helping my bestfriend in his house. ” He said although he sounded stupid .

” Ok what are her parents occupation . What class are they from ” she asked.

” Aunt stop being a pain in my neck and just let me be . Mum approves of my relationship so stop this madness ” he said and he heard his aunt hiss .

” Even if you bring a blind woman to the house , your mom would still approve it ” she said and Derrick almost laughed at her words but he held himself .

” Aunt lets not prolong this issue , I am getting married to Thelma in a few days time and there is nothing that anyone can do to stop me . Not when she is pregnant .” He said and he heard his aunt gasp .

” Pregnant” she muttered but he was quick to hang up .
