Chapter 307 I Know Who Did It
Chapter 307 I Know Who Did It
In the week following, no one dared to mess with her. Belongs to (N)ôvel/Drama.Org.
Blanca was still working at Peter’s studio. It would look bad on her if she kept on not showing up.
Besides, Matthew had nurses and Curtis looking after him - he didn’t need her around all the time.
On the 7th day, everyone looked dejected and the studio was in a mess when Blanca arrived.
“What was going on?”
Blanca hurried inside. There weren’t many people there at the studio - at the moment there were only
three of them, a cleaning lady, a female student named Jennifer, and a gentleman called Eaton.
Jennifer was a student of the Royal University, and Eaton was working on his master’s. These two
were both well-educated art school students, it was kind of normal that they never experienced
something like this before.
Jennifer saw Blanca walking in, and she said quickly, “We had no idea. A group of people showed up at
the studio and started smashing stuff here and there. And they just left us with such a mess.”
There were tears in Jennifer’s eyes. She was holding a smashed painting, and she felt aggrieved.
Blanca knew that it took her a whole month to finish that painting.
Eaton was even sadder, he has been sitting on the side silently without speaking a single word, but the
sadness in his eyes overflowed.
As an art student, nothing mattered more than the work you made from scratch.
“Miss Blanca... I know that guy.”
At this time, the cleaning aunt came over and gave Blanca a timid look.
Blanca only felt that the blood had rushed up all over her body - what these people had done was
terrible and they had crossed a line here!
Blanca was never a push-over!
“Ma’am, can you please tell me who did this?” The cleaning lady was handling the glass slag on the
ground.
“It was... it was the young lady who came over the other day, the one who said that you stole her
boyfriend.”
“Boom!”
Blanca felt her anger get fueled up.
Salome Wally did it, didn’t she?
“Ma’am, and Jennifer, consider it taken care of. I will make sure she pays the price.” Blanca calmed
herself down, took out her phone, and called Zachary.
Zachary was eating with Salome Wally after they just finished a long class. Since last time Zachary had
grown to dislike Salome, but he couldn’t stand her keen attempts of reconciliation again and again.
That was why they were even eating at the same table.
Hearing the phone ringing, Zachary pushed away Salome’s arm holding him, “Salome, hold on, please.
I needed to take this.”
“Fine.” Salome seemed reluctant.
But Zachary took two quick steps, walked to the flower bed, took out his mobile phone, and saw the call
from Blanca. His eyes lit up, “Hey Blanca, what was the occasion?” Zachary assumed he had rubbed
Blanca the wrong way after what happened last time.
Salome didn’t like it when she saw Zachary pick up calls away from her, so she followed him quietly.
And she was in great disappointment as soon as she heard the name, Blanca.
What did you want, Blanca Roach? Why wouldn’t you keep a distance from Zachary?
“Hey Salome, I’m sorry. I just remembered I had plans already. Dinner rain-check?”
Zachary finished the call with Blanca and said to Salome.
But Salome suddenly pretended to fall in front of Zachary, “Oh, ... my stomach hurts, can you please
take me to the infirmary?”
“Right now?”
“You don’t want to?”
As much as Zachary didn’t want to, he agreed in the end, seeing the way Salome was, “Alright.”
