Chapter 37
Chapter 37
Chapter 37.
Aisha’s POV.
“Are you spying on us?” | yelled, my voice shrill with anger. Emily looked at me,
unrepentant.
“You know you'd do yourself some good by lowering your voice,” she said, her tone cool and even.
| glared at her, my chest heaving with fury. “I am not Nelly,” | said through gritted teeth. “I won't just let things slide.”
She let out a low hiss, like a cat whose tail had been stepped on. | could feel the tension in the air, and | knew that things were about to get ugly.
“Why are you spying on us?” | demanded of Emily, my voice shaking with anger. “Aisha let it slide,” | heard Harry’s voice from inside the room. | turned to face him. “It would do you good not to intervene,” | said, my tone sharp.
| turned back to Emily, my arms crossed over my chest. “Are you done throwing yourself at Alpha Kex that you think Harry is your next target?” | said, the venom in my words unmistakable.
| could see the anger in her eyes, and | knew that | was pushing her to her limit. “What makes you think | would leave Alpha Kex for Harry?” she said, her voice dripping with disdain.
“We both know that Alpha Kex has been away for two days now, so you decided to move on to the greatest warrior in the pack?” I said, my voice rising in pitch.
Emily let out a cold laugh, her eyes glinting with malice. “You think too highly of yourself, girl. Just because you are Harry's mate, doesn’t mean you're anything special.”
My heart pounded in my chest, and | felt a surge of rage course through my veins.
“Oh, really?” | said, sarcasm dripping from my words. “At least | can walk beside my man proudly. When | pass by people, they will give me the respect | deserve. They will say, “That's Gamma’s woman. Can you do that with Alpha Kex?” | said, my voice rising in both pitch and volume.
“How dare you!” she roared, her fists clenched. 10:43 Thu, 22 Feb GG Chapter 17
| could see the rage in her eyes, and | knew that | had hit a nerve. “You're just a little girl playing dress-up. You're not fit to be a Gamma’s woman.”
“Oh, you didn’t tell me you're the moon goddess,” | said, my voice laced with sarcasm. She gritted her teeth, clearly not amused by my comment.
“My man and | were about to do something spicy before | sensed your presence. If you ever try this shit again, | will forget my manners.”
| turned to leave, but before | could take a step, | felt a sharp pain in my head. It was ast if someone had taken a sledgehammer to my skull. | cried out in pain, clutching my head with both hands. | collapsed to the ground, my vision blurring.

Harry carried me into my room and dropped me onto the bed, then he went to lock the door.
“What the hell is wrong with you?” he shouted, his voice filled with anger and disbelief. “Do you know the consequences of what y have just done?”
“Don’t come in here and preach to me about what Alpha Kex will do,” | spat. “I don’t fucking care!”
| knew | was being reckless and foolish, but | couldn’t bring myself to care. | was too angry to care about the consequences.
“Oh, you won't care because you don’t know what he will do to you,” Harry said, his voice tinged with sadness and disappointment. “Nelly isn’t here to take
your punishment for you.”
“What will he do? Beat me? Make me run on the floor? Starve me?” | yelled, my voice cracking with emotion. “That’s the worst he can do, and I’m ready for it!”
He paced around the room, running his hand through his hair in frustration. Finally, he stopped and turned to face me. “How do | make you understand?” he asked, his voice cracking with emotion. But | would rather not understand. | just wanted him to leave me alone. “Just leave my room,” | snapped, but he didn’t move.
He just stood there, looking at me with a pained expression on his face. It was as if he were trying to see through me, to try to understand who |
was.
He moved closer to me, and | backed away, my heart pounding in my chest. “Stay away from me, Harry,” | said, my voice trembling. But he kept coming, like a man possessed.
| noticed a piece of broken glass on the floor and picked it up, holding it out in front of me like a weapon.
“| will stab you if you come any closer,” | said, my voice shaking. But he didn’t listen. He kept coming, like he was determined to get to me no matter what. | wasn’t sure what he wanted.
Without warning, he yanked the glass out of my hand and threw it across the room. “How could the moon goddess have blessed me with such a psychopath?” he muttered.
Before | could respond, he pressed his lips against mine, hard and urgent.
