Stuck In The Wrong Marriage

Chapter 75

Happy reading..

For the first time Elena felt really bored just being at home. She really wanted to go out for a walk, but no friends who can accompany her. Elena had already contacted some of her friends. None of them could accompany Elena on the pretext of being busy at work.

Elena was thinking, should she also go back to work so that when Jayden isn’t at home like this she doesn’t feel bored.

“Maybe I should ask Jayden about this in person,” Elena said with a big smile.

Actually, she could have waited for Jayden to return home, but because she wanted to go out, Elena decided to come to Jayden’s office.

“Good afternoon, Miss. Is there anything we can help you with?” asked the receptionist at Jayden’s office, welcoming Elena kindly.

“Is Mr. Jayden in the office now?” she asked.

“Does Miss have an appointment with Mr. Jayden?”NôvelDrama.Org: owner of this content.

It’s no wonder the beautiful woman asked that because only a small number of employees know what Jayden’s new wife looks like. They only know if the boss has remarried.

“Yes,” Elena lied. Because she definitely wouldn’t be let in if she said there was no promise. Maybe after meeting Jayden later, Elena would ask to be formally introduced as his wife. The new Mrs Jayden Xavier.

“Is that true?” Oh Lord! The woman even asked again, making Elena’s patience run out. “Because if you do have an appointment, Mr. Jayden can’t be out of the office.”

“What? So Jayden isn’t in his office right now?” Elena asked with a frown.

“Yes, miss,” replied the woman.

“Where has Jayden gone? Why didn’t he contact me?” muttered Elena. She then thanked the receptionist then left from there. Luckily before actually leaving the office she met with Roy.

“Good afternoon, Madam Elena,” Roy greeted firmly but still sounded friendly. Unlike the woman earlier, Roy is one of the employees who knows who Elena is.

“Afternoon Roy! What a coincidence that we meet here. I heard Jayden is out. Is he having a meeting outside today?” she asked.

There was a hint of doubt on Roy’s face that made him pause for a moment.

“Nothing, madam.” But he couldn’t even lie.

“Then where is Jayden now?”

“Mr. Jayden is in the hospital now?”

“What? Is Jayden sick? Why is he in the hospital?” asked Elena surprised and also worried because she remembered very well when Jayden left the house this morning, her husband was still fine.

“No Madam. Mr. Jayden is fine.” Roy’s answer made Elena breathe a sigh of relief.

“Ah, thank goodness. Then why is Jayden going to the hospital? What’s the matter?” she asked again.

“Mr. Jayden is visiting his son. I heard Juan has been allowed to go home,” Roy replied.

Oh, so it’s because of Juan. Inner Elena put on a displeased face.

The information that Roy provided was more than enough for Elena. After leaving there, the woman decided to follow Jayden to the hospital.

And this is where the commotion between Elena and Hera started, again. Elena, who is now Jayden’s legal wife, does not accept her husband getting close to his ex-wife again. Unable to contain her emotions anymore, Elena approached Jayden and Hera who were talking in front of the ward where Elena was sure Juan was occupied.

“You selfless woman! How dare you approach my husband!” Elena screamed after successfully pushing Hera’s body so hard that the woman fell on the hospital floor.

“Elena, what are you doing?!” Jayden screamed holding Elena’s body because it looked like the woman was going to attack Hera again.

“Let me go, Jayden! I have to teach this woman a lesson not to tease you anymore,” Elena protested trying to free herself from Jayden but failed. Her small body was even pulled by Jayden to get away from there. Without caring about Hera who became Elena’s victim there.

Truly, Elena was dissatisfied with only being able to push Hera. She should have just pulled her hair or slapped the woman so she would give up and not interfere with her relationship with Jayden anymore.

“Get off me, Jayden!” Elena said while struggling to be released. But Jayden didn’t care. The man only released Elena when they got to the car.

“What are you doing, Elena?” he asked. He was completely shocked and did not expect something like this to happen.

“Teach your ex-wife a lesson for daring to tease you again,” Elena said in a curt tone while folding her arms across her chest. She leaned his body against the back of the car with her eyes straight ahead.

“God, Elena! Why are you being so childish, huh?” asked Jayden groaning in frustration, brushing his slightly messy hair back.

Elena’s shoulders slowly dropped. She turned to Jayden. Her eyes shook as if she couldn’t believe what she had just heard.

“What did you say? I’m childish?”

“Yeah. You’re so childish to think Hera will tease me,” Jayden said with an embarrassed look.

Elena chuckled sadly and rolled her eyes in annoyance.

“Then you want me to just sit and watch you with her? Is that so?” she asked. “I’m jealous Jayden. Can’t you understand that?!” she asked again with a fairly high tone of voice.

Jayden never answered, only looked at Elena with a look that was difficult to decipher.

“Hera is only using Juan as an excuse so you can come here to see her. Tsk! You sneaky woman,” Elena sneered.

“Hera isn’t like that.” Jayden’s defense suddenly made Elena’s eyes widen. She didn’t hear right? Jayden had just defended Hera and not her.

What is this?

“You’re defending Hera?” asked Elena with a look of disbelief.

“I’m not defending her, I’m just telling the truth, Elena. Hera isn’t like that,” Jayden said, making Elena’s emotions uncontrollable.

“Wow! What has Hera done to you to make you defend her like this, huh?” Elena said with a crooked smile.

“Enough, Elena! Please don’t equate Hera with you,” Jayden said subconsciously.

Elena finally budged there. Jayden’s last words were like sharp daggers that went straight into her chest. It really hurts. The tears she had been holding back finally spilled out.

What’s wrong with her anyway? Has Jayden only seen her as a temptress all this time? Elena thought Jayden was the only person who wouldn’t mind her status. She thought the man loved her sincerely regardless of where Elena came from. A man who can accept her as she is. But it seems the assumption that the truth should be questioned again.

“You’re just like everyone else out there, Jayden,” Elena said emphatically. Get rid of all the heartache. Her small hand then pushed the car door firmly.

Going from there is the best option.
