The Divorced Heiress Is Entering a New Marriage

Chapter 261

“Wait, what? My daughter left a while ago,” her father said, surprised.

“What? Where did she go?” Jayden asked, panicking a bit.

“She went to the Crystal Hotel for a meeting. But-“He glanced at the wall clock. “If you hurry, you might catch her. They should be wrapping up soon.” All content © N/.ôvel/Dr/ama.Org.

“Thanks, Father.”

“You’re welcome. By the way, would you like one?” he offered, holding out one of the liqueur chocolates he was eating.

“No, thanks. But enjoy them for me,” Jayden said with a smile as he headed out of the office, eager to find his beloved.

Even though he didn’t have a grand romantic plan, the goal was to spend quality time together, so he

rushed off to find Deborah

When he arrived at the hotel, he headed straight to the restaurant area but couldn’t find her.

“Excuse me,” he said to the host. “I believe there were two people here earlier for a business meeting.”

“Do they have a reservation?”

“Yes, under the name Deborah Cooper or Anderson Securities.”

“Let me check,” the host said, looking at the system. “Ah, yes, they actually left about ten minutes ago. But the lady asked me to give this to anyone who came looking for her.” He handed Jayden a manila

envelope.

“Thanks,” Jayden said, taking the letter and opening it. Inside, there was just an address and a key, which puzzled him. He thanked the host and left the hotel.

He hurried to the address, hoping Deborah would be waiting for him, but it turned out to be a courier

service.

He

made a face, but his curiosity got the best of him, so he went inside.

“Good morning,” the attendant greeted him as he entered.

“Um, good morning.”

“Can I help you with something, or are you here to send a package?”

“Well, I’m not sure. I have this key and-”

“Oh, a storage package. Right this way, please,” the attendant said, leading him to a row of lockers.

Jayden raised an eyebrow but followed her to the lockers.

“What number is your key?” the attendant asked.

“Uh, 18?” he said, somewhat unsure. He noticed the lockers had nombers and found his locker, opening it to find a red gift box. “Is this…?” he began to ask, but the attendant had already left.

Confused, Jayden went back to his car to open the box

Inside, he found a note with a new address, a hotel card, and a bottle of champagne.

“Could she have planned something for me?” he wondered excitedly, starting his car to head to the new

address.

When he arrived, he was surprised to find that the location was near the dock, but continued searching for the place listed on the card.

Suddenly, a group of men surrounded his car, forcing him to stop.

“Hey, buddy, I think you’re at the wrong place,” one of them said. Jayden realized they were Brandon’s bodyguards.

“Get out of the car,” they ordered, drawing their weapons.

Jayden got out, holding the champagne and the letter

“Mr. Cooper?” one of them recognized him.

“Do you have an appointment with the boss?”

“Um, not exactly. It’s just that I- Jayden stammered, nervous and confused.

“Hey, what’s going on here? Did my special package arrive? A woman approached, spotting Jayden. “1 hope you’re not trying to steal my husband, because today he’s all mine and strictly off-limits for business.”

“Uh, no, actually…”

“Oh, I see you brought my special package,” she said, taking the bottle and card from him. “Thank you, sweetle. Since you’ve been such a good delivery guy, here’s your tip.” She handed him some keys and a note with a new address.

“Uh… thanks,” Jayden said, accepting the items.
