The fate of the Rejected Alpha

35. The Enemy, part 3.

SASHA IS CORNERED

One moon later…

Even after a week had passed over their discussion, Sasha became cold and no longer gave herself to her mate. She ignored him and this situation was leaving Mary with her hair standing.

Occisor went back to being rude. With the coldness coming from his female, Occisor took all the missions for himself, staying out of the house all day, sometimes for more than just a day. Sasha is no longer eating at the table and every morning she hunts alone in the forest, spending the rest of the day inside the library reading.

It is no different. Hunting and reading, those are Sasha’s favorite things to do.

Sasha walks with slow steps, she is not hungry, but refuses to go a day without eating. She’s been hungry too long, and now that she has a way to feed on her own, she won’t spoil it with sad feelings. It would be an insult to everything Guila has done for me, is what she thinks whenever she feels like not getting out of bed.

That idiot. Ugh, she always curses Occisor, but only in thoughts.

The forest is always clad in white, the icy wind whistling in her ears carrying the sound of the footsteps of the herd where it had found its prey. Sasha tries to think of nothing but hunting, and because of her total focus on the animals ahead, she pays no attention to her surroundings. Camouflaged by the forest, at the top of the tree, was someone who had been contracted to find her.

Already transformed, Sasha sticks her claws into the soft ground by the snow preparing to advance in her prey. However, before she could jump, a hook circles her neck, making her stop where she is. Her breathing grows slower and slower and her vision becomes blurred, her paws become wobbly, and then another hook on her neck causes her to fall to the ground, her body gradually returning to her human form.

The genuine alpha along with his pack also returns to his human form and comes out from behind the trees, approaching Sasha. The male human jumps from the tree, standing beside the unconscious young woman. His gaze on her is one of pure disgust and hatred, he is now feeling revenge.

“What’s inside the bottles?” Kratos asks.

“A lion tranquilizer, made in Africa and here we increased it by one hundred and thirty times,” he smiles and spins the small gun on his index finger. “This bitch is tough, it took two shots!”

Kratos stops in front of the young woman and watches her. Her face is no longer pale as he remembered, her body also had stark changes. She was no longer thin, now she had generous curves and full breasts. Now, to him, if it weren’t for the stains on her back and the scars, he’d say she was just an ordinary, beautiful female.

“Tell your commander that I thank him for the return of my cub,” with his foot he turns the young woman’s face a little, finding that she sleeps heavily.

“Don’t forget, it’s to make her suffer a lot! That wretched…”

“You better not give me orders, have you forgotten who I am?” He looks at him with a deadly look.

“And I was just reminding you of our arrangement.”

“You’re insulting my memory, you insolent child! You think I’m like you humans? Bunch of traitors!” He comes threateningly close to the human who begins to tremble in fear.

“I didn’t mean to… Now that it’s all settled, I’ll leave the rest to you.”

The human begins to run away from the pack of naked wolves.

High in the sky, a black crow watched everything.

Kratos picks up his daughter and places her inside a nylon bag. The genuine beta Lacios is the first to transform. Kratos ties the straps of the bag around Lacios’ neck and he starts running. It’ll take them all day to get back to their country.

In the witches’ palace…

“Sister!” The third princess returns to her human form.

“Were you able to deliver the message, Catherine?” Angèle closes her book.

“I went to the base, but there was no one there. Besides the human officers.”

“Damn it. I need to…”

“Angèle, on the way back I saw something strange.”

“What?”

“A white wolf with red stains on its back, it was hunting, I realized it was the genuine’s daughter, I don’t know what she was doing there. But at that moment she looked like she was going hunting. She’s very brave, hunting in Occisor’s town.”

“Mary told me that one of her children found they intended two months ago, it must be her,” Angèle concluded, remembering the conversation.

“So they kidnapped her!”

“What are you talking about?” she asks with a frown.

“A human hit her with two tranquilizers, and the wolves of the genuine alpha pack put her in a bag and took her away.

“Holy Triple!” Angèle says surprise.

“I’m sure Occisor will go after her, and this time I think he’ll kill us all!” Catherine says, remembering the countless massacres Occisor has extended throughout the land.

The third princess, Catherine Benoit, is the bearer of the Hope Spinel jewel, she can transform into anything, whether animal, plant, or object; she can even transform into water and blend into some river or sea. Just imagine, that transformation happens perfectly. Catherine is one of the beauties within the castle with her long wavy light brown hair, her thin and upturned nose, her thin, pink mouth. Just like her sisters, her face is round. The third princess wears her jewel as a necklace.

“This could be our chance!” Angèle exclaims suddenly, leaving her sisters confused.

“What do you mean?”

“Occisor wants his mate back, he’ll face all the wolves and if we can convince him… He can conquer the leadership of the packs, and thus become…”

“The supreme alpha,” Catherine says, her eyes glowing.

“Yes! And so we will have the wolves as our allies. This is just perfect.”

“It is. But… How are you gonna convince him to do that? He hates werewolves, and everyone knows that all he wants is to exterminate everyone. And sure enough, when he hears about this… The hatred he feels will grow even greater, sister.”

“You’re right. But we need to take the chance and hope that the moon goddess is in our favor.”

No one has ever imagined a witch cheering or praying to the god of another supernatural being. But Angèle Benoit is different, she admires Selene. When she read about what made her create the first Lycan couple, her heart warmed.

“Strange enough to hear that, who would have thought… One day we despised this goddess so much, and now we have to hope she helps us. It’s kind of funny.”

“Yes, Cathe, but that’s all we have left. It’s for our people.”Property © of NôvelDrama.Org.

“When do we go?”

“We’ll go now, we’ll call our second princess, Lorraine.”

Angèle walks to the doors of her chambers and speaks to one of the guards.

“Call the chief princess of the guard, Lorraine.”

“Yes, Your Majesty.”

After three minutes, the second princess enters Angèle’s room.

“We’re going to the Van Helsing’s base.”

“Because…?”

“A chance has arisen for us to achieve our alliance with the wolves.”

“How?”

“By conquest!” Angèle smiles openly.

“Will you come too, Cathe?”

“Yes.”

“Right,” Lorraine approaches her two sisters, “Van Helsing turpis portam,” she whispers to her ring with her jewel.

A white light fills the entire room, a round circle opens over the princesses’ heads and begins to descend, leading them straight to the second floor of the hunters’ family base. Where no one is.
