Chapter 2261
Chapter 2261
Girlfriend?
Sebastian frowned. He wondered what made Claudia think that the girl was his girlfriend.
Sebastian was very unhappy, but he did not explain.
At first, he frowned, but it soon disappeared from his face. It seemed like he had thought it through. He relaxed his eyebrows and stared at Claudia, gazing into her eyes. She started to wonder what he was thinking.
Claudia was stunned as he looked at her. She frowned. She did not know what was on Sebastian's mind.
She did not want to think too much about it. When Sebastian did not say anything, she continued, "What? Are you shy? It's normal to have a girlfriend. What's there to feel shy about? You young people are always on hormonal overdrive. It's natural to have that thought."
"No, I think you're the one who's always on hormonal overdrive." Sebastian retorted.
Claudia was stunned and admitted generously.
"Yes, I am. I'm at my prime, so I naturally want to fall in love. What? Do you want me to wait until I'm 30 before I find love?"
Falling in love was part of life, and it was only normal for it to happen.
Claudia did not feel ashamed about it at all.
On the contrary, she found it really normal.
Yet, what was the expression he was wearing on his face?
Was he looking down on her?
When Sebastian heard that Claudia wanted to find love, he instantly felt dejected.
An uneasy feeling washed over his body.
Hmph!
He felt that she was indeed the type of woman who would get along with just any man.
She told him that he was love at first sight for her just a while ago, but she already wanted to look for another man then.
He couldn't help but to say sarcastically, "I knew you're the type of woman who liked to get around."
Claudia was stunned. She had no idea what he would say that.
However, Claudia was naturally upset by his words.
No way in hell she was going to admit that.
She immediately retorted, "What makes you think that I'm the type of woman who likes to get around? Your words are infuriating!"
"You know it best yourself." Sebastian sounded very annoyed.
"I'm sorry, I have no idea what you're talking about," Claudia said in a deep voice, "I really don't know where you get that idea of me. Perhaps you're the one who likes to get around?"
Sebastian's face stiffened and his breathing quickened. Afresh swell of rage rose in him. He glared angrily at Claudia.
Claudia was even more puzzled.
She noticed that he seemed to be very angry.
Yet, why was that?
Claudia felt that she could not understand the young man at all. He obviously did not like her and he had a girlfriend. So, why was he mad at her then?
That must be a joke.
Was he angry because she once told him that she liked him, but she wanted to find love then?
It couldn't be. Could it?
Claudia thought it over and over again as she blinked. She doubt that was the reason why he
was mad at her then.
However, she was
angry for being labelled as a
woman who liked to get around for no reason.
"Sebastian, look at you! I had to defend myself. I think it was rude of you to label me as an easy woman." "Humph!" Sebastian sneered when he heard her words. He said in a deep voice, "How dare you talk to me about manners? I am accusing you, but I'm not wronging you. You said that you fell in love with me at first sight previously and now, you're finding love. If that's not called a fickle heart, then I don't know what is."
"Uh!" Claudia clenched her wrist.
She could not believe him.
She was stunned.
How did him dare criticize her like that? What was more, he looked so self righteous.
How could he?
"Sebastian, you're right. I did fall in love with you at first sight, but you don't even like me. What? Do you want me to confess my love only to have you reject me? Since you don't like me, would you want me to keep pestering you?"
Claudia asked Sebastian calmly. She was reasoning with him as if he was a kid who was throwing tantrums.
"Even then, you should not have changed your mind so quickly, and even want to find love!" Sebastian shouted rashly.
He was stunned the moment the words left his mouth.
He was a little annoyed with himself.
Claudia burst into a laughter and looked helplessly at Sebastian. That was a little ridiculous. She felt as if she was looking at a child being unreasonable.
Sebastian felt even more embarrassed.
Claudia said, "Sebastian, you are being very unreasonable."
Sebastian looked away and did not meet Claudia's eyes. This is property © of NôvelDrama.Org.
Claudia said slowly, "I did confess my feelings, but you don't like me. So, what can I do? I'm not the kind of person who likes to force myself
onto a guy. How am I suppose to I cling onto this one sided infatuation? I'm sorry, I'm getting old, I need to find love."
"Hmph, you're just being easy," Sebastian said again in a deep voice.
"No, you don't get to act like this. You were on a date moments earlier and now you're acting as if I cheated on you and calling me an easy woman. Who gave you this right?"
Sebastian was stunned. He looked at Claudia and said, "Who told you that she's my girlfriend?"
"Isn't she your girlfriend?" Claudia was stunned again. She was a little confused.
If she was not his girlfriend, then who was she?
Claudia blinked her eyes and the corners of her lips twitched. If that wasn't his girlfriend, does that mean that...
Eh!
Perhaps she still had a chance?
Was he trying to explain himself to her?
In any case, Claudia felt that she could take the conversation as him trying to explain himself.
At least at the thought of that, she felt much better.
However, Sebastian still looked tensed. He said grumpily, "Why do you care?"
"No, I don't care." Claudia nodded
seriously I really couldn't care less about you. You're not my boyfriend or anything. There's no need for me to meddle in your business like it matters a lot to me."
He was already feeling uncomfortable.
When he heard Claudia's words, he felt even worse.
She was so annoying.
When he saw Claudia's indifferent expression, anger welled up in his chest once more.
Claudia said angrily. "I'm not the kind of woman who would confess my love to anyone so easily."
Claudia was speechless. She had just confessed her love for him and she was criticized for it.
Why was he speaking to her in that tone anyway?
Was he trying to piss her off?
"Since you think that I like to get around so simply, I am even less qualified to talk to you. Why don't you leave quickly so that I won't continue to be an eyesore to you here?"
The success of Claudia's self-deprecation almost rendered Sebastian speechless.
She was actually self-deprecating.
Sebastian pursed his lips and sneered. "You are indeed an eyesore, but I did not stay here for you. I stayed here for my sister."
Claudia was even more speechless.
Did he have to be so straightforward?
Even if he belittled her, he did not have to be so direct. She was really angered.
However, Claudia was smart. She quickly composed herself and said, "Sebastian, since that's the case,
why don't you make a phone call and ask Sylvia? That way, you won't have to make the trip for nothing."
"No!" Sebastian shook his head unhurriedly. "The more you don't let me go, the more I want to go. I will not be at ease unless I see her."
"Are you sure that you're doing this for Sylvia?" Claudia was a little suspicious of his intentions.
Stunned by the question, Sebastian looked at Claudia again and frowned. "What do you mean?"
"The question explains itself." Claudia replied indifferently. "You know what? Think what you like.
I just feel that you're acting really strange today."
"I don't need to explain myself to you," Sebastian said coldly.
"You don't, and I have no obligation to follow through with your request either." Claudia looked away and said in a harsh tone, "If it weren't for Sylvia, I
would not have been so polite to you."
D*mn it.
Sebastian frowned.
Was she being polite?
Did she want to scold him? That was ridiculous.
Sebastian snickered. "Whatever you say, I won't
get mad."
Claudia was actually a little surprised the. Sebastian seemed to be fighting against her, like a rebellious child. The more she did not let him do
something, the more he could not help but to do it.
Claudia was furious, but there was nothing she could do.
